PROMOTING OPTIMUM CHILD DEVELOPMENT
The Nanaimo Child Development Centre is a community-based, non profit organization that has been an integral part of the community since 1967. The Child Development Centre has a mandate to provide individualized services for children, from birth to age 19, and their families that promote optimum child development.

Top things you can do today to leave a legacy


  1. Prepare a will. Without a will you lose control over your property at death.
  2. Leave a gift in your will for the Nanaimo Child Development Centre.
  3. Leave a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the assets to the Nanaimo Child Development Centre.
  4. Consider using assets for your charitable gift. These include but are not limited to cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, term deposits, real estate, vehicles, art, jewelry, or insurance. Such gifts may even provide tax savings.
  5. Name the Nanaimo Child Development Centre as a beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF or pension.
  6. Name the Nanaimo Child Development Centre as the beneficiary.
